Stockholm is a very accessible city by road rail and air. There is an international airport and excellent road links both into and out of the city. Long distance and commuted trains connect Stockholm with towns and cities throughout Sweden and beyond and they arrive into Stockholm Central Station on Vasagatan. Stockholm's international airport is the Stockholm Arlanda Airport that serves the city with both international and domestic flights. If heading into Stockholm from Gothenburg, take the north easterly E20. The other major route into Stockholm is the E4 which runs from Helsingborg in the south, through the capital and up to the far north of the country and into Finland. The Stockholm Transit Authority operates both the bus and subway systems within the city. These networked methods of transport are the best options for travelling within Stockholm as not only are they reliable, inexpensive and clean but also, Stockholm's traffic can be very busy.
